Internet Explorer 4.x (For Windows)
  • Select the menu item "View -> Options"
  • Click on the "Advanced" tab.
  • Scroll down to the "Security" section.
  • In the "Security" section find the "Cookies" section.
  • Select "Always accept cookies".
  • Click "OK" to close the Options dialog.
     
Internet Explorer 5.x (For Windows)
  • Select the menu item "View -> Internet Options".

  • Move the slider to "medium".
  • Click the "Custom Level" button.
  • Click the "Reset" button.
  • Confirm the action (if neccessary) by clicking "yes".
  • Click "OK" to close the "Custom Level" dialog.
  • Click "OK" to close the "Internet Options" dialog.
 
Internet Explorer 6.x
  • Go to the menu item "Tools -> Internet Options"
  • A dialogue box will appear.
  • Select the "Privacy" tab.
  • In the settings box move the slider to "Medium" (Third notch from the bottom).
  • Click OK to close the dialogue
     
Internet Explorer 4.x,5.x (For Macintosh)
  • Select the menu item "Edit -> Preferences".
  • In the preferences dialog, click on the "Receiving Files" settings.
  • Under the Receiving Files settings you will see a section named "Cookies", Click on this section.
  • In the "When receiving cookies" drop down, select "Never Ask", or "Ask for each site".
  • Close the Preferences dialog.
 
Netscape 4.x
  • Select the menu item "Edit -> Preferences".
  • Click on the "Advanced" category in the tree list on the left hand side of the Preferences dialog.
  • In the Cookies box either select "Accept all cookies", or "Accept only cookies that get sent back to the originating server".
  • To be extra sure you can tick the "Warm me before accepting a cookie" box which will inform you whenever a cookie is set on your computer.
  • Click "OK" to close the "Preferences" dialog.
    

Interent Security Programs
