Morada Music Distribution Fees

Let me explain to you how our distribution service works: We enter into a two (2) year Distribution Agreement and we are responsible for the distribution of your CD for two (2) years. There is a recoupable set-up fee of $2,500 against a 15% distribution fee. We do not take our 15% distribution fee until you have recouped (earned) back your set-up fee of $2,500 from the sale of your CD. Here is an example:

$2,500 Set-Up Fee
500 CD's sold. You would earn $2,500.00 based on a wholesale price of $5.00 with retail at $10.00.
After 500 CD's are sold, you have now recouped your set-up fee. Morada would then start deducting our 15% distribution fee ($.75) per CD sold.

This is just an example. The retail and wholesale price will be set by you and Morada and will affect the above figures.

Your music would go on the Morada Music label or your label and be distributed nationally. We would take care of all the barcodes and work closely with all of the national sales representatives, retailers, one-stops and wholesalers. We would also create a one-sheet to solicit your CD to retailers across the country. We would be responsible for all of the marketing and coordination and the distribution of your CD. In short, we would be your record label. You would be responsible for manufacturing and delivering finished goods to our warehouse. We will determine the number of units to manufacture once we have solicited retail through our distributors in order to determine the amount of product to put in the marketplace.
